Getting Started

When you first open the calculator, it automatically creates your first semester. You can rename it to something like “1L Fall 2024” or “Spring Semester” by clicking on the semester name field.

Adding Your Courses

For each course you’re taking:

1. Course Name: Enter the full course name (e.g., “Constitutional Law”, “Contracts”, “Legal Writing”)
2. Grade: Select your letter grade from the dropdown – it shows both the letter and GPA points (e.g., “A- (3.7)”)
3. Credits: Enter the credit hours for that course (most law courses are 2-4 credits, but some seminars might be 1 credit)
